I was waiting for someone to mention that, but transportation costs should be dropping along with the lower fuel costs too  :gap:
Yup -- and if the chart is accurate, transportation is less than 4% of the cost...  small impact on final cost.

And it's a safe bet that neither refining costs nor taxes are dropping.

Assuming $4/gallon, and cost of crude at just over half that -- Now reduce the cost of crude by half, and you've just cut $1 from the price of a gallon of gasoline, putting it at close to $3.  Which is not too far from what has happened in our neck-o-the-woods.

Ain't basic math grand?   :gap:

My brainwashing (by the gas companies) has been coming along quite nicely, thank you.

It finally dropped under $3 here today, and for a brief moment, that seemed reasonable to me...    :outtahere:

$2.35 today so another $0.17 drop since last night.  The other stations are lagging way behind, but I can't complain about only having one station with quality fuel.

It's back to $2.45 so it must have hit the bottom for a while.  The other stations are still priced higher.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I remember $.99/ga.

All of this "fix the economy" stuff - if they would just get the gas below a buck so many more people would travel and SPEND money in other areas..

I saw 2.39 today, and I paid 2.49 (credit price vs cash)

You can find it for about $2.55 here in Pocatello, Idaho. Funny, last time i bought gas it was over a dollar more!
By the time I get the money for an SAS I'll be 65 at this rate!
