Gas Prices hit $2/gallon!

I think gas has been too cheap for a long time now. It's about time they started raising the price of fuel. Honestly it will be great to pay $7.21 per gallon of fuel later this summer

When the futures cost of a barrel of oil went up the prices of fuel started going up over night, guess what, the futures price of a barrel of oil went down today and the price at the pump went up again. Does anyone see anything wrong with this?

Everyone but the oil companies see something wrong with it.  What's sad is, you now see that stupid "boycott gas stations for a day" crap popping up, and the brainless masses jump right on the bandwagon, ignoring the fact that they'll just buy gas the day before or the day after.

You're fooling yourself if you didn't think they were millionairs before gas prices shot up so high.  The only people being made a millionaire off these prices are those smart enough to invest mass amounts of money into oil companies when prices started rising.

just passed the pump on the way to work this morning in san gabriel, ca.  4.29-87, 4.39-89, 4.49-91, and 4.59 for diesel.  this is crazy.  and we are crazy enough to pay it.  where is the checks and balances with the oil companies?

You know the government takes in more in fuel taxes than any one company makes above their overhead. And then that money gets used for something other than intended. Not that Oil Companies aren't greedy or out ot make money, but the people that we vote for and work for us are responsible for this as well.

No such thing with private industry. There should be oversight, but that hasn't been working too well.

Today I filled teh 4Runner with premium for $3.99 a gallon and the Sequoia with regular for $3.69, it was almost $120 and the 4Runner wasn't on empty.

I put $50 in my truck for reg and it didn't even fill it. Poop!

Put $45 in the 2wd the other day, but that should last me about 2 weeks if I keep my trips to a minimum.  All that means, though, is it'll probably cost me $55 for the same amount next time

so far i only spend 42 for a fuel fill at the pumps but i do only have an 11gallon tank
