  I do still have it.  I'm trying to sell the diff/ and or the whole housing, as its an Elocker.  I'm debating keeping it and making a trailer of it myself, throwing my old bed on it, and just getting a trailer axle, but that idea can be swayed   without the axle it'd be easy to just throw it in the bed of my ford.

Rubicon.  Those are 2 of the 4 axles I broke (or is that 5 now?  )  on the 'con last roundup

You wheel too hard, I've only broke one inner half-shaft axle, I've never taken out the CV's

jay I wonder if there is something wrong with that third or something wrong with the case?  You did not have that much trouble when you went 2 years ago?  You were going after some crazy lines,  Hey member when we were racing and I past you up in that section when you first broke???

Hum IFS.....    Why are rear 60?  can you just not get a 14b from a pick and pull cheap?

Seriously, I hope we get to wheel together sometime. We haven't had that chance yet.  Any chance you'll have this done to go to Hollister in April with the other guys?

Probably.   Although for what I've been told IFS can't do, its done pretty dang good

I really think the IFS framework is shot.  Its taken a lot of abuse, and  I'm thinking its just not square anymore.  I opened up the case and everything looked fine, no metal chunks, everything turned smoothly.  And I believe I was in front of you when I broke

I'm going with what I can get, most of the yards are stripped of anything good, or want ridiculous prices for what they have left.  You pretty much have to catch vehicles when they first get in there.  If I'm not happy with a 60 down the road, I'll pick up a 14 bolt.

  I figure putting a 3/4-1ton axle in the rear of a 1/4 ton truck can't hurt, right?   I'm not too worried about it.  If I have problems, I'll get rid of the 60 and go to a 14 bolt.   I'm doubting I will though, I'm going to stay on the small side (for a 60) on tires, and its nto like that 3.0 puts out a ton of juice  

I know the truck won't be finished by april, but it may be wheelable by then, we'll have to see.  A couple buddies and I are planning a 'con trip this summer, neither of them have ever been there, one has a '78 bronco and the other one is building a scout, so it'll be fun.    I'm definitely going to be at the roundup again though

I don't know for sure, I think so.  I was told it was a 44, didn't look quite right when I went to pick it up, looked like a 10 bolt to me, but it doesn't really matter   thanks for the info on the 10 bolt BTW IronClad, thats the main reason I didn't care.  Now I just have to get to work cleaning it up and getting it ready to go!
