Also, I have cam files for all of these cams, so if someone wants a chart on one, I might be talked into posting it.

I thought this was something you had access to at work.  but upon a second look, I was wrong.  where did you get such a program?

Thanks for posting that.   that puts the rpm's up high for peak power it seems.

yeah, that thing is peaked between 5500-6000...that's a little high for a crawler IMO. :ha_ha:

Desktop Dyno is a publically available program...I think Summit has it not sure where else though.  Let's say mine is uhm...borrowed.

I'm going to relocate my license plate, and I had to put a light in the relocation box.

Yeah...I hope it works out for me...for 25 bucks I don't think I can go wrong..  I need to pull the LSPV and put in an adjustable one though.

OK I got in my new rockers after a bunch of BS.

I will say this, and please note that I work for NAPA.  Do not buy rockers from NAPA.  GPC/NAPA has decided (in all their brilliance) to sever ties with dana corp. , which means that our supplier for engine parts is now Sealed Power (junk, IMO) I ordered 8 new Aluminum rockers, # 214-2170.  I got 3 alum rockers, 4 cast iron rockers and 1 SBC rocker, due to the re-boxing of old parts.  ::)  So I finally got my remaining rockers in today, and all of them will require use of my new OEM adjusting studs.  the SP adjusters are WAY too long and would probably hit the PCV baffle inside the valve cover.  2 of the units I got were old Clevite (DANA) parts and are much higher quality than the new SP units.

so anyway, the new rockers have been installed, and the cam *should* be here tomorrow.

SIDEBAR: NAPA no longer does business with Beck/Arnley Corp. :rivers: it just keeps getting worse.  I swear they are trying to turn us into Kragens. :rivers:

Duffil

nope.  I'm finally going to install the temp sensor that runs the gauge I've had installed since last summer, which would have helped avoid this whole situation. :hammerhead:

:yesnod: I finally got another Yoat!! Picked this thing up on Thursday night. This thing is bone stock. 241 on the clock.
Wow..talk about a base model  not even a volt gauge...

CrazyYota

Cool so are you using a new gauge? or using the stock one?

Duffil

about 8 months ago I put in an  AutoGage Temp/volt/oil pressure cluster..I never hooked up the temp gauge.  When it goes back together, it will have the temp gauge hooked up.
