Duff you should tone it down and quite breaking stuff on that motor!!

:trout: yeah, because I'm doing it on purpose. I really can't help it.  :muscles:

edit: actually, now that i think about it, when I built this engine, I took the head to the machine shop and they just exchanged it for another one they had already done. So none of this is really of my doing. :dunno:

no, it is the bolt under the damn distibutor.  I was loosening it and it was one of those ":pokinit:...that didn't feel good...give it another twist. POP" type of breaks.
Good thing too, cuz otherwise it woulda just come loose.  :disturbed: :gap: :hammerhead:

Duffil

[postwhore]OK, so the fuel pump eccentric has been machined to fit with the LC cam gear, the head is ready to roll, now I am just waiting on my new cam to show up...should be late next week. :cheese: [/postwhore]

Doof

Duffil

Duffil

One of the LC cams.  I plan on posting up my DD results when I get a minute.

Wermz84

I keep debating between the LC and the Comp Cam.  :dunno:

Duffil

the research I did, the comp cams put out almost no torque gains down low.  I'll post my findings later.

Ive seen it 2x as well once was passenger side, the other was a wrecked truck and was driverside, although the pass side took the brunt of the collision.

OK...here is some research.  Mind you that this is setup using MY ENGINE CONFIGURATION, which is not stock.   I think it still shows a pretty good comparison between the cams.  Also, I know that *part* of my math is wrong somewhere, but I am too lazy to make this 100% correct.  It's close enough for the girls I date.

Here is my current setup:

Here is a representation of  Comp Cams # 87-119-4...I will only post this one, but all 3 numbers i ran had similar performance.

and here is the LC 1022021 cam, which is what I am going with.
