Hi all of you wonderful people, what a nice thing you have done for Glen and his Family.

Angelo said he did tell Marlin about this and Marlin was very appreciative about the response from everybody. Angelo said Marlin wanted to post a reply to this thread but had been really really busy getting ready to head south. Marlin is running the F-Toy at Cougar Buttes this weekend, the weather is pretty crazy right now in California, so wish them a safe trip.


Glen and Evil Sis, thank you so much for sharing your childhood pictures, pictures of your father, and the stories. "Wuppin the Bear" made me laugh till I cried.

Do something special today for your dad's birthday. It sounds like he liked a road trip, is the van fixed yet? Maybe take a drive up visit his grave and take a nice sightseeing drive around. Or if you go to visit his grave, find out when the band is playing and check that out.

we're expecting more severe storms this afternoon,  its already 70*   so  we might just hang out here,  my leg is still swollen so i'll probably try and keep it up today

Yeah, you have got to take care of yourself. You don't need to be going out in those storms, sounds like they are pretty severe.
It's 78* here now, going up to 85* and partly cloudy.
I got a paypal today from the administrator at toyotadieselmadness.com! It seems peopel have been getting the word out on other boards as well.

Yes, I don't know what the current amount due is, but last I heard it was still over $2000.
Melinda, the receptionist from the funeral home should be checking in with a current amount due by Monday. Not that it shouldn't be timely,but there is no immediate urgency on getting donations to the funeral home as there was before the burial, but they will be taking them till the amount is paid off.

that's right, I did see that you had some pretty bad storms up that way.

Too bad. I have another $236.50 so far collected between paypal and outside donations, but am going to give it another couple days. I have a couple other people that have said they will be paypal'ing me. At least that puts us under $2K

EVERY LITTLE BIT COUNTS PEOPLE! Even if it is only $10, it all adds up. Start rolling those coins!
