I would give it to you but it will be a little small. It's for my go-cart  :gap:

:disturbed: Guess that wouldn't be the type of protection I need then :hahaha:  :slap: :_order: :hammerhead:

Here is my step by step plan  :hammer:
First start with a standard winch plate. I have seen them in the junk yards or you can probably make one with some plate. Plan for it now rather than later. :twocents:

Next, add some tubing to protect the plate.

Add some plate between the tubes for added strength and a mounting point for some LED rock lights:

Trim the front of the fenderwells and before you know it, it might resemble another rig I know. :gap:

Gittinit

OK I was bored.
I just realized that I desighned it to mount to the body mounts, or is that actually part of the frame? :dunno:
Hug your kids, pray for a soldier, and don't sweat the small stuff.

Wow! :clap2: Shoyrtt, I'm diggin the simplicity

Gittinit, looks like you've designed it to mount in front of where the stock bumper was mounted (yes, on the body mounts).  I figure I can rig up a plate to mount from the actual stock bumper mounts.... coming off the side forward... :dunno:

So where is the progress?

Planning with every intent to utilize the plan... Is progress

So I got the base figured out.  It hit me like a ton of bricks :bricks: now I can use a grinder to cut and take several evenings, or I can try to find a chopsaw and do it up in about an evening :disturbed: I plan to get the base in tomorrow :crossed:

Here is another picture of under side of the winch plate. I missed it, what type of "bling" lights did you get?

Just my  :twocents: again, but you may want to run all four of those lights down below and then run two more up front. I found that with the up front lights, you really don't want them to actually be too bright. A nice flood light that points forward and to the side that doesn't blind your spotter seems to do the trick. :)

I do plan on running 2 more.. 2 up front, 2 in the  middle, and 2 in the rear  I just gotta get 2 more :hahaha:

Okay, so I started on my bumper tonite.  I didn't get much done in the amount of time it took me, but that's cuz all the friggin cutting I did was with a grinder :ack:

First I mocked cut and mocked up the mounts:

Then had to cut and clean the half inch of rust and grime off my base:

I started 'er up finally and turned her around (Notice the passenger tire :ack: )

So after pullin into the garage straight, I went to disconnect my battery so that I could start welding, and whaddya know a stinkin MOUSE charges at me from under the hood.  It was a good 6" body on that thing :ack:

So we got the base of the bumper up on jack stands using a leaf to hold it just right... NOT easy :shake:

Matt and Sierra helped me tack it up

After tacking it up, I touched up the upper welds then couldn't get the pita off.... but after busting my tacks  and hammering the thing off the front... I was able to finish welding it :hyper:

It slides right into the front tubes just fine... not too easy and not too hard

I haven't decided if I'm gonna bolt it or weld it where it's sleeved....

What size tube are you going to use? 1" & 3/4 looks good for a bumper. :twocents:
