U know if U just get 3 big sprockets and some long chains   U would not have 2 worry about all this drive shaft stuff.    just rename 2  Toymigocart     lets see pics

Naw Unc, you'd be surprised how heavy this thing is :ack:

Well, I was visiting thebeast8888 and he lent me a driveshaft.  He says it's out of an '85, that's what he was told when he bought it.  I can use it through the holiday he says, then I have to find another one.  :crossed: that it's the right one :disturbed: :hyper: if this works, then I just might drive my junk up :disturbed:

Well, I already know it will work cuz I tried the one that I bought last week.  That one took care of the rattling of the whole vehicle, cept the CV was bad so it hit the floor when the driveshaft spun.  This one doesn't look to have the angle that I need, but I'm hoping I'm wrong :crossed: I'll know on Monday...

Why you need to tow it

Because I don't find it wise to drive it from Livermore to Reno on its first trip on a new/used transmission that I haven't put any miles on.  And I know if I drive it I'll need the trailer, if I trailer it I won't need it  I'd be a lot more comfortable towing it and enjoying the wheelin than drivin it up there and worrying bout not havin a way home that's all

:disturbed: I'm gonna try, but I don't have any practice with it with him, cuz he sees right through me.  I'll just try to reason with him and tell him if I don't use it and I break then mom has to come get me, if I do use it and I break I can just use his truck to get my :moon: home :crossed:

Well, I drove the Amigo home today (90 miles).  I got about 20 miles out and realized I had gear oil comin into the cab from the intermediate shaft.  So I pull over and take a look.  I was missing a crossmember bolt, so that left a lot of room for vibration  I bolted it back on and drove the rest of the way with no problems :woohoo: We'll see tomorrow if it took much of a toll on it when the sun is out and I can see

I figure I blew the seal on the tcase when the crossmember was unbolted and allowed for so much vibration. I went about 20 miles on the freeway that way.... :smack: I went out to the Amigo this morning and oil is just puddled on my floor (have huge hole in floor over tcase).  I'll get on it... I'm goin to ask about a tow rig tonight :crossed: If I can't tow it it ain't goin this weekend :crossed:

Pics soon
