A little weld-on bump stop might be a cheap temporary cure for your rubbing problem, until you can move the axle forward, or tub the firewall.  I've got my ifs torn most of the way off right now, and the sas is mighty tempting.  Glad to see you got it done finally.

Actually, it would help with your front driveshaft angle, it would pull the output for tthe front further back ( about 6 inches) so the angle wouldn't be near as steep.  I'm not sure if it'd be enough but it would certainly help

I think if ya ditched the fenders altogether and had some type of tube bumper that tied into the future sliders that tired into the rear wheelwell hoop sliders  that tired into a spare tire carrier w/ rear stinger that welded to the rear tube bumper.  it'd be hotter  :hammerhead:  :hammerhead:  :hammerhead:  :hammerhead:       looks good gangsta'  :shocking:   :king:

:bat: okay you two :slap: It don't wobble that bad, BD it only wobbled so bad because my U-Bolts were loose :o I just tightened em down this morning and it's a lot smoother now :smack: :hahaha: And guess what else? I've put about 500 miles on it since the swap and I haven't rolled it yet :crossed: :rofl2:

A little trick we used to do on the u-bolts at LS was to torque down the first nut and then tighten a second nut down on top of the first.  Especially if blocks were used!
