FFC does the tcase have to be installed and ran to check for leaks or can you just put in the gear oil?  :dunno:

I think I'll just put gear oil in it and spin it... and if it doesn't leak then we'll drain it back out to mount it, then filler back up.

:woohoo: Got the Migo movin again!! (Cept for my battery is toast  so we have to keep jumpin it  ) Got an early start today!

Me and MRsOYCJ went to PnP to find a starter for the Migo, but they didn't have one  So we came back home and the guys were still diligently welding/grinding/fabbing (On the Jeep).  So I started flipping the leafs on the Migo and realized I needed some new shackle bolts.  So we went to Lowes  and they didn't have any bolts near big enough.  So we had to cruise around and find OSH.  We got the bolts then went home, had lunch ::) then finally got the leafs done.

I welded up my soft mount on my crossmember for the tcase on the Migo, then Dave, Justin and Matt got under the Migo and helped me put it in.  We got the Tcase in, the front driveshaft in and the rear leafs flipped around... I'm up to 95" wheelbase now :hyper:  And now I don't even have a rear driveshaft long enough  :woohoo: I've been wishing for this problem for 18 months!! :woohoo:

I now have to re'design my rear shocks, as my front rear shock is extended, and the rear shock is stuffed... so I have to put new shock mounts in the rear.. and never did get them in the front, so those are priority too :disturbed:

Aaanyway, time for a shower and some :sleepy:

Thank you! I doubt that it'll make it.  Not only do I have to get gears in the tcase  I would need to find a way to tow it up to the trailhead :dunno:

Most likely, but if/when I break I don't want to pay $600 to get it towed to P-Ville :dunno: We'll see... I have to see what it would take to get some gears... Not sure I'll make it if I don't get gears first

You want a free set of 5.71's? They are not in thirds, but are not that old.

I do have housings, but would need install kits.

Do you have any lockers?

I do have an old set that have been in the back yard for about 10 or more years. :ack:

But lets not get carried away here.

5.71's aren't the most desired gears, but for the price it would give a better crawl ratio without any lower Tcase gears.

Won't do much for hwy speed, but she should trailer it anyway.

I need to look, maybe I can find enough parts to put them together with out even install kits. I think I may even have a welded carrier.
