Did you hit the creek bed? We went out there a couple of years ago and hit the creek bed it was pretty cool when you got back in there a little way's. I will see if I can dig a pic. or two up from that to show yall.

ya we went up the creek as far as we could. we stopped once it got to be too overgrown.  where i let ryan drive is about 200 yards up the creek from the start.

Yeah people started abusing the creek, it got pretty contaminated with all the rigs in it (it's beef drinkin water).  They closed the park to 4x4's for a long time.  I thought it was still closed.  I haven't taken my rig there yet.  Justin, you down vet's day?

wasn't much water running through the upper part of the creek.  we only played in the upper section with no water,  lower part had water in it.     did pick up a bunch of trash that was up there.  people have no respect! the sign says that the upper creek is closed but the ranger said it was open the sign just hadn't been changed

not to many other pics, but ups guy showed up with this today.    it's my wiring harness for the efi from offroad solutions.  still not sure if i don't want to go with propane though.  propane would be a lot less work

cool pics justin. funny thing is, it makes my rig look more capable than it actually is.  anyway, sorry for being the lagger on the trail and im glad you guys had a good time.  I think i need to install a clutch cooling fan on my junk or get that new t-case soon.  good times

well since this was brought up by jud i figure i could post some updates.  i got my 22re engine torn apart and i am going to put a new headgasket on it.  also am going to take the head in and have it checked out.  still torn on whether i want to dovenose it or not.  but i got a used header and my fiance bought me a winch for x-mas.  she said it was too heavy to wrap so i got it early

i haven't got to do anything to it lately.  i got talked into building a jewerly case for amanda for x-mas.  it's big and was a pain in the ass.  and once i thought i was gonna be done with it i broke the glass that goes in the top.  got the new glass today so hopefully after this weekend i will be able to start on the yota.

What brand winch is that? Awesome wife for getting that for you. Mine has gotten me grinders, welder's, 60 Gallon air compresors, but not a winch YET.

it's a milemarker 8000#  i didn't want her to spend alot of money on me so thats why she got me that one.  plus i figured if i ever wanted to upgrade it would be a good winch to put on my trailer

Hey awesome build...just curious about your grill.  Im guessing its probably custom made but i was wondering what you started with.  Also, when bobbing your bed did you have any problems with welding back up those thin single wall bedsides.  I really want to remove the "longness" of my longbed but all that sloooow stitching and possibility of burning through has got me a little discouraged. Thanks a lot

actually the grill is made for toyota's.  i bought it off ebay for like 30 bucks.  the sidewalls of my bed were a pain.  you have to "stitch"  it back together.  use a low setting and use gas on the welder.  then basically spot weld the whole thing back together.  once you figure it out it not that hard just take a while because you have to let it cool or it will burn through

One more thing....how did you sequence, space out, time etc., the spot welds when you stitched the bed back together....looks like you avoided warpage pretty well.

i went about an inch apart all the way up.  then started back at the bottom and went above that all the way up.  iff you don't care too much just weld it enough to make it hold then use body filler.  i had nothing better to do that why i welded it all the way up
