Your build just keeps on gettin better, I look forward to seeing the winch and all the other new parts on your awsome rig!

snowshoebrue

went out to frank raines again.  also started my efi swap

snowshoebrue

also bought myself a ready welder 2.  and in the pic above rex is pulling the f-toy not the other way around

Gittinit

Nice welder, I really like the f-toy. I need one of each.
Hug your kids, pray for a soldier, and don't sweat the small stuff.

– fortysixandtwo – sorry, i prefer marlin because aside from gittinit, no one is a know it all a hole

Duffil

I like the paint on the EFI manifold/valve cover.  Why didn't you use the copper though?

snowshoebrue

i couldn't find any high temp copper or else i would have.  i would really like to have a formula toy also.  i would be perfectly happy if i never had to use that welder on the trail.

i also got some header wrap so my exhaust doesn't heat my floorboards up so bad.

Duffil

have you finished the EFI swap? Are you gonna run the battery in stock location, or swap it and go shorty intake to the pass side?

Rainer

Whos runner is this? It looks awsome. What size tires is it running? Got any more pics?

!!!FREEDOM IS NEVER FREE!!!!!!!!
1985 Toyota 4runner
22re rebuilt(offroad cam, internalls from enginebuilder)
5.29s with elockers f/r (high pinion front, v6 rear)
3inch suspensions 2 inch body
33 inch mixed tires. (bfg at, firestone at?)

snowshoebrue

no i haven't finished it yet.  i got sick and i'm a baby when i'm sick plus i had to help with the wedding invitations and honeymoon stuff.  shorty on the pass side, most likely i am going to move the batteries to the bed in a marine box.  i am adding another battery for the winch and the welder.  plus if i decide to dovenose it will help being in the bed and out of the way.

the runner belongs to a friend of the jeremy (ftoy).  if i remember right the boggers are 35, has highsteer, dualcase with 4.7 rear, locked and geared axles.
only other pics i have

Duffil

yeah, 35s, duals, 5.29s etc. guys name was Randy.

"Later, I learned that even though I engage 4WD my hubs are not automatically locking? Something about manual locking hubs I think. What's manual mean? I need to read a manual to lock them? lol  So I found these neat autolocking hubs and installed them. Sometimes they dont stay locked while I am backing up, but that's fine because I dont have a backup camera to see where Im going (like our RV) so I just simply dont ever back up"- BigMike

Patterson, like 16miles down Del Puerto Canyon Rd.
