Let's put it this way, I freaking should know how to take apart a damn Toyota axle after this weekend. g shims, felt, rubber gasket, split metal ring, and oil retention seals) about 20 times. I had to grind the S out of the knuckle gussets to make room for the oil retention gaskets that hold the felt and stuff to the knuckle.

looking really good bro. i bet you can't wait to take it for it's test drive. I did mine yesterday
I dont think tire clearance is an issue for you Volcom nice rig dude that thing has come along way from when you started and in a short amount of time, you need to change your sig to the slowest 4runner build up to FEAROFRUNNERS inspiration. Rock on with the 1984's!!!
Well Loki, I hate to say this but with you and Lagen having trouble with his case and you posting it up on here, you might have just saved my Moab trip. My dad just got the cases out and sure enough, the front case shift rod pops the rear case out of gear. Thanks Loki for posting that thread
If you're cutting the shift rails on the rear t-case, then the reduction unit IS ready to run. I would agree that an installation note would be helpful.
i thought there was a note somewhere?? i read it somewhere before i installed mine to make sure i did.
It was there on mine.. I just failed to turn to the last page, so had to pull it back out and do the same thing Doh!
awsome work. you should have lots of fun taking it to moab. i like the way you moved the front axle way up there.
