my wife just took it in to do the transfer of title and pay the reg and tax on it.  $1700  :yikes:.  had to take it in and get it smogged too. :shake:.  oh well. at least everythings there.  i'm not going to put a tune in it or cut the cat out.  maybe just do a muffler delete and call it good. :gap:

Thanks!  Yeah I run a 30" extension.  It tows like a dream, but clanks a lot.  I always wanted a torklift superhitch and truss, just cause they're overbuilt.  Haven't had any issues in 8 years...even with the rough roads.

i got a chance to hook up to our 3 horse trailer, with all three of our horses loaded up and take them down to the beach this last weekend.  pulled it with no effort.  got a brake controller installed too that made a world of difference.  this is the first truck i've had that tows with ease.  i love it!

I forgot to mention,  I put in a straight pipe over the weekend, it was annoying.  i drove it back to l.a. from pismo and by the time i got out of the truck, i had a pounding headache.  i put stock muffler back on yesterday.  going to leave this thing bone stock.

Add this FTE Resonator to your exhaust and you won't get the drone while pulling running down the highway.  You'll still have the straight pipe sound but no drone!

pretty good, i just push in the clutch and let it roll down the driveway.

on a serious note i got 24mpg towing the jet skis up to shasta. that thing barley pulls its own weight but i was impressed.

My Ranger was scary towing, I towed my Willys to the Rubicon with it and it was plain dangerous. Then one time I towed my 80 longbed Toyota and got the same results. Vowed never to tow with it again. Now my 80 Toy did just fine towing my Willys everywhere but that Ford was not, whatever I towed with it just pushed it around.
