New tow pig...

Picked up this 89 F350 4x 7.3 IDI 5 speed from my boss for free after one of the farm drunks rolled it in the snow.  He wanted the service box that was on it so I got it with no bed.

Picked up a 81 parts truck for free so I could convert the nose to the older 81-86 body style.  I scrapped what was left of the 81 for almost $200.

A guy stopped by one day and asked if I wanted a flat bed.  Made a deal for $200 and he even delivered it with a boom truck and set it right on the frame.  Scored a set of low tread 37" H1 goodyears with turbine mags and lugnuts included for $100 off a local forum and slapped them on. I picked up a windshield from the local junkyard for $40 and porta powered the roof out. A buddy upgraded seats in his 99ish F150 so I got the buckets and console out of that truck.

So far I have about $200 in hard cash laid out on this truck after scrapping the parts truck and old sheetmetal off this one.

Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

I'm liking the theme here recently, tow rig and rigs in matching color. Maybe I should paint my next rig to match my tow rig..... nawww.

Pulls good for a gasser. Add a brake controller, weight dist. hitch, and a slip tank, hook up to the trailer and go! :burnout:

1200 miles to Moab for me . 70-75 mph all the way there and back. 7 to 7.5 mpg.

PBrown

Yea i used my Titan to pull the 2000 miles to moab. I dont know if i want to use that again. think a diesel is next. I like the buggy too.

Any guy who takes his woman wheeling enjoys her. A woman who is owned is left at home to cook, clean, and keep beer cold. So if this offends you you should stop looking and go have some tacos.    :rofl2: And a beer. If your old enough.   :beerchug:
