Yeah, I wouldn't have bought it if all they offered was the 5 cyl.  I have the Hummer H3 Alpha which comes with the 5.3 ltr V8 with something like 300hp and 320 ft lbs of torque!  It gets around alright.

The first pic is actually in Las Cruces, at this years Chile Challenge.  The second pic is taken in front of the house.  You can just see the old Supra chillin in the garage  :driving:

My tow rig is a 92 F-250 with the 7.3L IDI diesel.  No, not the powerstroke, not even turbocharged (yet).  Right now it pulls the load fine but runs outta steam on the big hills.  Hopefully, after the wedding I'll get that ATS turbo kit I've had my eye on.  I was hoping that my fiancee ordered it for my B-Day today, but I guess it's a little too spendy for that  :eyebrow:

Not yet, just my F250.  It should sit and tow nice with the airbags.

Is it chipped?  Feels cool to have a near 8K pound truck completely haul ass doesn't it?

picked this up on 1-4-09
04' chevy 3/4 ton extra cab
loaded with all the trimmins and a 6.0 gasser for about $13,500

Bad part is dealer ship i bought it from
RANCHO MOTOR COMPANY  in victorville ca.    SUCKS

4 days after buying it the dealer ship calls and tells me that the finance co. can't go a 4 year term only a 3 year and the payment is going to have to go up by about $30 a month. Now i know that isn't a lot of money , but there is a principal here plus it pissed me off! So i took the truck back to them on 1-8-09 and got my old car back (THAT HURT)

not the end of the story though! i went out today and looked around and found me a nice 04' Dodge 2500 4door short bed w/60k miles, for about 16k. Not leather and doesn't have all the trimmings but nicely optioned, here ya go

It does have one thing the chevy didn't

Welcome back yotaboy.  Nice looking new tow rig.  How do you like it.  I love my duramax, and when I lift it it'll be a lot better IMHO.
