I know the post is old.  And I know he has a Tacoma.  I finally just put 2 and 2 together w/ his user name on the PBB.

If had somemore  money and fab skills I could contribute more here, than just smart remarks :(

Still saving and learning.

Haha, my one-ton is the only vehicle I have that makes him look small! He's a  Great Pyrenees (the wife's dog).

Thing I love about the F-350 is I can fit the whole fam in the cab; the wife and I, our two kids, two dogs, and some cargo we didn't want under the tarp in the bed. In this pic we were just about to head south over the grapevine in so-cal on our trip from far nor-cal back down to AZ. It was snowing so the wife didn't want her pup in the bed, even though he loves cold weather.

That looks fun...

also KDXSR5...for the price you can't beat those 5.3 reg cabs...they WILL tow a crapload and have no problem...i use one for work towing :pokinit: all the time..like 5k of grease duct on a 2500lb trailer...pulls like a champ. 6.0 would be nicer..those PULL AMAZING..but 5.3 gets the job done
83' Pickup "ShitBox" - more parts
92' Pickup "Doomed" - some parts

I just installed 1 Ton springs on it and put my RKI boxes on it so it is ready to rock and roll. I was not planning on buying this truck, but I fell into a deal on it at the same time the headgaskets let go on my Jeep (I know I know). The truck is getting better mileage and is way more useful than the jeep, so it is working out well! Now I am waiting for the rear end to blow since it is a 10 bolt. Hopefully it wont be anytime soon.

You win.

Ha!  Thanks, I think this response applies to my tow rig post.  The rig has been great so far and was rather inexpensive in comparison to some of the newer trucks.  Only downside is the MPG in certain instances which you kind of forget when you bury your foot and hear that turbo wind up!  I have some plans to make it a bit more user friendly for the light loads I pull with it in the near future.  I will post up revised pics once I have them.

Its a FORD!!!! I open the hood about Once a year and change the oil. LOL :gap:

It had a a Dana 110 swapped it with a Dana 80  when the lift and gear change was done.
Just got back from Ouray in it and averaged 11.8 mpg  not to bad.  :driving:
