I hate when people are full of steaming dog ... so I was told the truck had Yukon 4.11s in it along with Detroits, right? Well guess what?
bull    bull    bull    bull    bull Worng on both accounts! Pulled the third from the truck, lo and behold the spiders are Fn WELDED and the ring gear says TOY 4.88 fer fek's sake.  The pinion has 8 teeth and the ring has 39 if anyone wants to do some math. Awesome... so I'm betting the rear is welded too. Looks like I'm running a Lok-Rite up front after all; now I don't feel bad about the car having charging issues and dying on him when he drove it home. Karma dude, it's a mega-biatch and it'll get ya! Just ask Earl.

At least I'll be properly locked in the front now... no wonder steering was such a PITA with the hubs locked!
