I like the lockers... but couldn't imagine steering with a welded front. It's interesting on the highway with loose u-bolts too.  :yikes: The ass-end jumps a little over bumps, but I fixed that yesterday.

I was told the truck has Detroits front and rear but I was also told the springs are Marlins, which they are not. I don't know how much the guy did during the year he owned it or what was done before he got it.

Is there a way to tell what locker you have without taking apart everything? I doubt it but figured I'd ask...  :dunno:

I'm going to start pulling the axles apart today and take the thirds into school tomorrow so they can be set up by someone who knows what they're doing... which is absolutely NOT me.

Matt I left my big green hammer with those SAE wrenches; was looking for it last night to pop the tie rods off. I brought those wrenches to adjust my mirrors and lights if needed; not to work on the truck, I know better than that.
