That makes sense. I don't know what else I can do though.

Yeah you could use longer shackles but what you'll end up doing is just making your caster further and further off. I'd do what DTB said. I know it sucks but thats the proper fix.
ok well the other option is to move the rear shackle frame point further back. OR run a shorter spring. Other wise you will screw up another set of springs. Not trying to rain on your parade just telling you the facts.
haha I just saw your mug in an old toyota 4wd owners magazine........ on the back page....the one with the sleepy truck
Yeah that was me all right. I was just cruising and joking with my buddy in the passenger seat while not paying real close attention to where I was driving and flopped over. Of all the cool things I have made it through, the time I get in a magazine is when I am doing the most lame thing ever.
check to see if your shackle is bottoming out on your body mount
Where was that flop pic taken Cole?
I pulled the axle apart tonight and fortunately the only thing broken was the ring and pinion. The Longfields didn't have a scratch on them. I thought the welded diff exploded and took out the ring gear but the welded diff held up just fine. The ring gear is probably missing 25 teeth and there is a big chunk out of the pinion as well. The high pinion was a dealer take out item that only had 33K on it when I got it which kinda surprises me that it broke before anything in the t-case or even my welded 4.10 4cylinder diff in the back. The more I think about it I think it was just the conditions of the hill rather than accumulated abuse. South of Des Moines in Knoxville Iowa.
you didnt pull any leaves from that pack?
I have that section of a tcse left from building my crawlbox. If you want it let me know, couse its yours! Did this happen becouse of your driveline bottoming out or did you bellie out hard on the crosmember or?
