How much for the rings? Do you think those wheels would work? It would be kind of cool if they did

The backspacing is no good. 200$

I got a little hung up. It took a little work but I was able to get un hung up with the help of a fat guy and a little sheetmetal. The FJ trail team was giving the FJs a work out.

I just got back from Dresser WI for the big memorial day run there. It was a great time as usual. I flopped the truck and as far as we can tell blew up a 30 spline longfield. I have to take it apart further than the drive flange. The drive flange and outer threads are in tact and so is the ring gear so there is only one thing in between the two that could have failed.

I pulled my front end apart today and it is official, i broke my first 30 spline birfield. The inner race where the splines are, in the birfield are broke in two places and all the splines are toast including the inner shaft. I was on flat ground stuck on a log with the rear axle and the front right tire was spinning free and unbound on some hard packed dirt when bang and the tire stopped turning. It was weird since there was no reason why it should have broke there. I am sure it was all the abuse before that accumulated and weakened it enough. I called Bobby and he is gonna warranty it for me and give me the upgraded current version. My camera would not focus in close enough to get a good shot of the cracks in the birfield or the splines.

:disturbed: Is bobby gonna replace both sides as a set or just the pass side?

I am gonna pull out the driver side tonight and if it is tight I am gonna send it to him. I'm sure it will be, it probably wouldn't last too much longer.

I have four including the one headlight which I think is a very reasonable number. Do you disagree? The two in the center are strobes like DTB said.

I think neon rock lights and a strobing music interface are next :shhh:

I should have taken a picture of the real party wagon I saw last weekend at Dresser. It was an old school bus with a huge steel dance floor and brass pole on the roof of it!

I started working on the truck again. The throwout bearing blew up last run and came out in many pieces. The winch no longer works for some reason. It worked to winch myself back over last May then hasn't been used since. Of course I got all the winchline spooled out before I realized the winch had no power. What can cause a WARN M8000 to act like there is no power at all? Nothing has changed since it worked great last time. I assume the problem is in the solenoid box. Any thoughts.

Next stop Disney Oklahoma.
