Thanks.., it definitely helps getting the wife out on more wheeling, camping trips. Heck I've even washed the dog with it.

Just to make sure I understand.  The heat comes from your trucks cooling system and is in a water jacket surrounding the copper coil?  Then the usable water is pumped through the tubing?

Yes. Coolant flow going one way , then inlet of cold water going opposite direction. 3 " copper pipe is coolant chamber. The copper coil inside, flowing opposite direction is the inlet of water source. So In  Theory, coolant flowing, with coiled cold water getting warmer every coil..

Man, that's a sweet rig! Love the grill mod. My rig in college was an 86 4runner - had it for years then life happened. I definitely think our 2019 has the same vibe (especially the lack of power...lol) with some good updates. Anywho, very awesome build-up here, thanks for sharing.

Couple pics of factory parts for 1st gen 4runner tailgate. The inner weatherstripping is discontinued. BUT.. the clips are available at Toyota. Couple pics of parts. SO. if you decide to remove inner weatherstripping. Disregard the clips, save the form of the inner weatherstripping.. the clips can be replaced.. as far as the tailgate stays.. I sandblasted the stays, the painted with eastwood alumablast. Then used heat shrink tubing from home depot. The end result is nice, see pics.

I painted a tercel wagon with rustoleum, after a couple months I threw a couple coats of wax on it that seemed to help the paint not to chalk. Paint job lasted 6 years so it wasn't a bad option.

Prismo, I'm planning on throwing some ceramic wax on it.
I'd be happy if I get 2 seasons out of it.

Sorry I missed ya, always good to put a face with a name. I'm looking forward to next year's turnout.
Clean rig, I was looking at it at the show.
