Dallas, that would be cool, Looks like Rockwelled is coming from NC, are the TX guys going too? I was just checked the MCR4 page, #190 is from B.C., Canada.
I've got to finish putting my map together.
yep i was thinking we would cruise right into bakersfield on 40 then right up to fresno,     save some gas from climbing the tall :moon: mountains along NV CA border :smack:

good plan. MrW didn't like the idea of going over the rockies on the northern route. It might be a little longer, but if it avoids that climb (not that we don't have to climb to get to the Rubicon) it might save some $$ (although with diesel, I don't know if that makes a difference).
But it will be cooler to caravan anyway.

in CA, diesel is higher than gas right now!

Lady Di

it is here too, well about the same as mid grade for the most part. But what I meant was as far as pushing the motorhome up over the mountains or taking the lower flatter route, I didn't know if that would make a difference fuel consumption wise with a diesel the way it would with a gas vehicle.
I know it would be WAY slow going trying to climb the rockies. We would have been going over Donner Pass.

The event is free event but each truck will need to pay the usual $15 per night Rubicon Springs camping fee. The camping fee will be collected by the caretaker on site. Come on out and enjoy the trails with Marlin and the crew!

Chris...unless things have changed the Fee at the Springs is a one shot deal that covers the whole weekend (I think it is good for up to a week of use) and is not a daily fee....

I don't think anyone will have any trouble picking out The Mammoths. At least as long as we are hanging around the mammoth.

Thats what I asked and the responce I got was, "Think of how many Jeeps are at the Jeepers Jamboree and they camp there." Or something along those lines...

Dooner you're the best!  Sorry you can't make it.  Heard the food is going to be great.
Funny though how I signed up at like #154 and my name made it to the 201 mark.  Then again, Big Mike and Chris are known for joining the anti-roundeye club.

Oh geeze ::) Come on man. Did you notice how the list went from 263 to 311 in one day yesterday? I can't update that list as often as I want to, and I have all 311 emails in chronological order and that is how everyone has been registered.

But you won't need to worry about it Bruce, because I've been told by Chris that we are now going to bring enough meals for the first 600 People! :yikes:
