Ya, we did a spring over conversion with 5 inch springs on the front.  did a shackle flip with 5 inch blocks in the back lol.  total was right around 11 inches.  I see if i can find any pics of it on flat ground, but here is a minor flex shot.  You can see we had to cut out the fenders.

I don't mean to be mean Hyena, but you gots to cut MORE of those fenders off, it doesn't look near bad arse enough with all that sheetmetal!
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

wasn't much more that could be cut, it started getting into the cab area.  he sold it a long time ago anyway and bought a yota.

thanks for the info Mini.   reason I asked is cause I have been debating between 15x8's or 15x10' for the wider footprint.

on the front of your truck did you use a spring hanger if not how did you do it?

MiniSimp

1985 trucks already had springs in the front.

88toyta35s

oh yeah duh sry im a little out of it on my 88 when i do straight axel do i need the spring hanger to do it or can i make it look like yours some how and on your front leafs that were from the rear you said the 6th leaf is aal whats what

MiniSimp

You'll need a hanger, either built or bought. Marlin sells them.
6th leaf was an AAL (Add-a-leaf) at least I thought it was, but I'm not totally sure.
6 leaves was too thick so I pulled one and now run a 5 leaf pack.
