I'm kinda slow on the progress, but I was able to get out the Plasma Cutter today and got a couple of pieces cut.

Messed around at work today with the forklift to measure the suspension travel.

Front flex: 43" from bottom of tire to ground
Rear flex: 44" from bottom of tire to ground :eyebrow:

Not too bad, until I get custom width Diamonds I think that will be it. :dunno:

Duffil

How will Diamond axles increase your flex? Or maybe you have something else planned for that... :headscratch:

Good news: Got the skid plate cut and bent
Bad news: they f'ed up 2 of the bends and now I have to heat it and rebend it to where it's supposed to be. ::)

That's what I get for free work and free metal.  :dunno:

yota-tota

quick question....how much up travel are you running in the front? looks like your truck flexes great  :yesnod:
91 toy truggy on h2 injection, hacked n chopped n locked n SAS'd rolling 36" IROKS........doubler comming soon

MiniSimp

Haven't measured that yet.

At full compression my hub is at the same height as the front of my frame.
No bump stops, so it just stops when it hits something. It's pretty much 50/50 droop and compression.

MiniSimp

Ok,
Bad news: We tried using a rosebud on the metal and the surface area is too long to keep hot. :flamer:

Good news: I took the steel back to the welding shop and told them to not have Stevie Wonder do bends on my shiat, and they are going to fix it to the specs I gave them! (hopefully) :dunno:

Should get it back tomorrow, so I'll put up some pics if I do.

MiniSimp

 Got the skid plate fixed. They just had my angles off a little bit (as you can see by the other skid plate behind it.)

olivedrab85

Looks like they were just a little off! :screwy: How much clearance over stock will it be?
