hey man you shouldnt take it so hard you didnt break that much stuff really.  Your truck is totally set up and ready to run all of these trails it was just a little bad luck and I dont know how the hell that welded rear blew up.  your truck looked good up there and I really like the stance of how low and wide it is

why dont you want to go back?
I'll go back, but probably not next year. There are a lot of trails in Cali that I still want to do, and I have limited weekends to wheel, so we'll see. Overall I liked it, but I think next time I would drop camp at Buck, then at the springs. The only part I didn't like was breaking. Other than that It was a great trip! :driving:

I want to lower the front another inch also, just not sure how I'm going to go about that.

And you're right, I didn't break that much, it's just that normally I don't break anything at all, so it was kinda new to me. It also didn't help that I was blocking the trail and I felt hella bad about that, but everyone behind me was very cool. :beerchug:

Ramrod

your blocking of the trail was completely minor to everything else I got stuck behind last weekend

So, lets talk about my earlier sugestions for beefing of the pivot blocks!  :disturbed:
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Actually, I'm going to go with an Aussie Locker in the rear. It's working great in the front, and worked great in the rear before that. I'm going to go the dependable route now. :yesnod:

Thanks! I was pretty impressed also, at a couple of parts I was looking ahead and saying "How the fu** am I supposed to get through that?" It did fine, the breakage was my only not fun part of the whole trip. I'd love to do the trail again when I'm better equiped, but we'll see how this next year goes. I'm trying to get a house right now, and if I do, it'll need a lot of work and the truck will be put on hold for a while. :dunno:

I definatly did not like cadallic :puckertightsmilly:    + it was more of a steep parking lot then a trail.
