Put on some different shoes to find the source of a shimmy.
It's amazing how much tires change the look of an entire truck.
They are still 35's, but only 12.50 wide.

DTB

 looks gouda. r those ur tires? or r u just trying them on?

35x12.50's hit the fenders bad with 11 inches of lift on a waggy.  Me and a buddy found out on his 74.  just wanted to let you know.  how much lift do you guys have planned for it?  BTW, did they fix your shimmy Minisimp?

Dave is test driving Friday morning to find out.

Hyena

Ya, we did a spring over conversion with 5 inch springs on the front.  did a shackle flip with 5 inch blocks in the back lol.  total was right around 11 inches.  I see if i can find any pics of it on flat ground, but here is a minor flex shot.  You can see we had to cut out the fenders.

they are the 15x8 with 3 3/4 BS.

MiniSimp

I see lots of trimming in the future!

MiniSimp

With these tires on, there is no death wobble.
All of my shake is from the boggers being out of balance.
Dave, you might lose these tires....

MiniSimp

Tried balancing my tires and found out my wheels are all bent.
Surprise, surprise.
The guy I bought them from said they were heavily used on the Rubicon and Fordyce.
So anyway, I'll be buying some new 2" BS Wheels from summit.

MiniSimp

Ok, so I just ordered the wheels from Summit. Talked to Johnny at US Wheel ahead of time to make sure they still made reverse wheels.
Talked to "Wheeler" at Summit 1-800-230-3030
US Wheel Part Number: USW88-5860R-SPEC (the "SPEC" being specific backspacing) I told them 2" BS
The wheels will come raw (unpainted) in about 3-4 days.

*** YELLER ***

when are you gonna bring those up ?
