My eyes!  :shocking:

Pretty cool color (even to the color blind).  Just a notch or two above arrest-me-red.  Better keep the mud flaps in spec to keep the fuzz hassling the tuner crowd instead of your runner.  Sweet build up all the way around.
If it never breaks, people can only speculate how much it was overbuilt.

Thanks all, but dont think I will have any problems with the cops, Theres lots of mall crawlers around these parts with simple no cover mud flaps. I think my little 4 runner is going to be hidden behind those useless things. Couple right down the street as matter of fact.

Thanks

So what color do you think I should paint the camper?

Orange to match the truck, which the windows will be black, or Black?

If the windows will be tinted, then go with the single color scheme, looks really good. I really dig your front fenders

i say orange just to be different.  it's a unique color so continue that on the top.  the two tone top/body looks cool but a lot of people go with that.  and so many people use black as the second tone on their trucks.  go orange!  :bounce: btw that is a very quality build :rockingout:, that thing looks huge, do you plan on upgrading to a taller tire down the road?  :rockingout:
in the projects nooga, anything goes

Do the Orange, it finishs off the lines better so you get the effect of a runner not a truck with a topper.

Damm cool BTW!

Thanks guys, I did want to go that route, but wasn't sure. OK, Its orange. And thanks for all the support.

I don't think so on the taller tires, these are 35" MTR's, I guess it does look huge. The springs haven't seen any action yet, everything is new, need to see what this thing is going to do.

Can you believe no body lift. Its all spring.

im lovin the orange and thats a great pick for the camper color, it will look amazing when its all done. As for the lift on the springs i think when you wheel it more they will settle down a little and it will look better. Maybe when these tires are done you can stuff some 37's i think when the spring settle 37's will looks perfect on your rig. Also I havent read every page just looked through the pictures mainly and skimmed the text on them so i dont know if you have said what you are doing with it next but what are you doing for bumpers and sliders and all that?

All from Marlins. I already have the sliders here, just waiting to put them on, I also have the front bumper, but not sure if its exactly what I ordered. The rear will be custom, so as soon as I can drive it, I will take it to Marlins and Andy will custom make the rear.

What is your plans for the glass in the top ? Im in the middle of a bob job on my runner right now and Im going to cut the top where you did. Im debating whether to put windows in the holes or just fiberglass over them. It looks like your doing a great job on your rig and puting a lot of time and money into it, only problem is after the first trip to the Hammers all that fancy bodywork and paint wont be so pretty anymore.

It looks like your doing a great job on your rig and puting a lot of time and money into it, only problem is after the first trip to the Hammers all that fancy bodywork and paint wont be so pretty anymore.

I dont know what your plans are, but most 4 runners Ive seen bobbed have never kept the stock tailgate or rear. I wanted this thing to look as close to stock as possible. Lots of work involved, but it is possible. I also didnt want to use the functionality of the camper window, so again, bobbing the rear. For the windows, I am going to try to use plexiglass. If I cannot get the glass to work the way I want it to, then I can make some fake windows out of fiberglass, and paint them black. I think the plexiglass will work just fine.

If you need help, or have any questions when you do your bob job, send me an email. It was very hard finding anybody to help when I was doing it, but now I know what needs to be done. Wait till you see what I do with the rear cab mounts. Hope that helps.

Hey Vino, that's one way COOL runner.  By the way Dean is married to my wife's cousin, and we are trying to plan a trip down to visit them hopefully next summer, and would love to see your runner in person.  He said he would take me out on a run if I ever get down there, I can't wait.  I would love to be down this summer but, things are really bad for us this year!  Dean and family came up last summer to visit and got me hooked on this site.  And I can't wait to get a toy to do some really awesome stuff like you did!  I'm jealous looking at your rig, makes me want to firebomb my POS!  I'm going to have to set up a truck fund!
That first dent/scratch is really gonna hurt, especially after all the work you put into it!!

PS--  Is dean's screen name 4thwknd?  I have to bug him, I gave him a handful of coors light stickers and he was gonna send me a marlin hat!
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

Cool cheesemaker, you come down whenever you want. And yeah, Dean is the one who got me into this too. And yeah, his name is 4THEWKN on the board.

As for the stickers, give him a call at Marlins and bug him there.

Thanks for looking at my truck.

All Black.

Ive been working on the wiring, so no exciting pics for now.

Im soldering and heat shrinking everything, so its taking a little longer than I expected.

One major thing I need to do before firing up this bad boy is make my own fuel lines, I dont have any in the truck, so thats getting close.
