NO ANAL!!!!

Foot, I have a bad right ankle, thats all. I messed it up again, not allowing me to walk. Anyway, yeah I know, Dean keeps reminding me about the time.

I did get the new front windshield, haven't put it on yet, but I have it  :eyebrow:

He hurt his ankle trying to keep up with me and Dean playing foot ball....

Seruiosly he has a really bad ankle and it swells to a grape fruit at any given time.

Wiring is about done, just getting ready for the cooling, power steering and fuel system.

Taking a long time.

OK, theres been some progress, but I dont have any pictures yet.

I just picked up my new drivelines, I went with an 8" spline in the front, and a CV in the back, there about 1" different in size.

I had Napa flare one end of my chevy P/S high pressure hose with a Toyota fitting, so thats on the truck.

I had a tough time finding the correct radiator hoses, but after several times, and also changing the Thermostat housing, I found the correct hosses, so those and the heater hoses are complete

Ive also modified my chevy fuel pump that sits in the fuel tank to work correctly in the toyota tank. Had to lenghthen the shaft and the wiring

Also put all new fuel lines from the front of the engine to the back of the truck, and over to the fuel tank. Thats all ready to go, just need to finish mounting the fuel pump.

The wiring in the engine campartment is all about done so if all goes good, this thing should move on its own power this weekend. Hopefully

I will post pics as soon as I take some.

Had a great Saturday. Was able to finishup lots of little things on the engine, and finally put oil in the engine, tranny, and everything else that takes oil. Wraped things up with the fuel pump and the rest of the fuel lines.

At about 7:45pm, I cranked the engine up for the first time in 8 months. After only a couple of cranks, the engine fired right up.  :spin: :hyper: :spin: :bananabeer:  :bananaguitar: :bananasplit: :bananajumprope:  :bananaguitar: :bananasplit: :bananajumprope:

Yup, its running now.

The only thing I forgot thoe was the tranny cooler. So I shut if off right away. Need to clean up the tranny fluid and run the lines for the cooler. Still dont know where Im going to mout it, but I dont think it would be a problem.

Still have lots of things to do, so still would take some time to complete this build.

Cant wait to drive it.

That's what I like to here, the part about only took a couple cranks not the part about the trany fluid spraying all over the place cause you forgot about the lines.  :_oops:

Ive been working on lots of little things lately, hopefully, I can finish the exhaust later today so I can run this thing a bit more.

On the spare tire, im just waiting for the rear bumper to try to figure out what to do. I think im going to make some kind of frame on the rear. I dont have room, or even want that thing inside. I guess we will see.

Haven't posted much in a while, been kind of busy. I have pretty much finished most everything, just working on all those little things that take forever. Here are some pictures of the electrical wiring.

Hay Ferg, im sorry, ive been really busy, I will get with you in the next couple of days.

As for the rest of you slackers, I have been really busy trying to get this thing done. So many little things need to be taken care of when you get a rig from the junk yard, also when you put a non toyota power plant.

Anyway, today was a great day. I spent the morning at the DMV getting this thing registered, and have an appointment with the Smog Refaree on Monday.  :sheerterror:

I dont have pictures of all the details, but here is what went on today. After finally correcting a driveline problem that has been bothering me for a while, I started this thing up with just one crank  :shocking:

I put this thing in reverse, and it started to move ------ wow, imagine that.

After pulling it out of the garage, I took a spin around the block. So finally, for the first time since I purchased a piece of crap from the junk yard.

Here are some pics.

Not sure on the color, just went to Napa, and looked at there color chart. I really wanted it a little more bronze, but this looks good to me. At least its all one color. Actually, this paint is really good, I think I only used one quart of paint for the whole thing, the paint went a long way.
