Not right now.  Maybe a bed cage later on but i would like to tube the front out before that happens.

Ramrod

yeah brad have locktup build a badass super clean exo over that body how it is and then give the whole thing a shiny paint job

Hyena

Looks like i have to make a new mount for my highlift, it doesn't fit inside the bed rail anymore   :(

Well, the warranty is up on the Ford and the bank won't give me a warranty for it since it is over 100,000 miles.  Guess it is time to build that up.  Maybe get a chip for it, exhaust, intake, the ussual.  I want to be able to tow 2 toyotas at a good rate of speed  :)  And don't tell me about being easy on the tranny, i already know.  time to stop spending money on the toyota.

Rocksurfer

It's getting narrower and narrower.

Is your ford a diesel? Chips do amazing things for power strokes. My buddy pulls his case back-hoe up hills a 80mhp with his chip set at 50%. Cant remember what chip he is running though  :headscratch:

just kidding dood, looks like your javin waaaay too much fun...gonna do a buggy body soon????

Hyena

not anytime soon but probably later on.  the truck is built right now, it is time to start focusing on school and important things.  I will still go wheeling a lot, but i don't want to upgrade now unless i brake something.

Right now i am in automotive.  not really happy with it though.  i think i am going to start welding instead.

I found out my next weak link in my truck this weekend.  Broke a bunch of teeth off the rear ring&pinion.  tried little sluice again and got my passenger side rear tire wedged in some rocks and it started popping.  I had to get pulled out but ended up making it out of the trail on my own power with a bunch of throttle.  time for the heat treating of some new gears.

Ramrod

started popping?  try started exploding and lifting dust off the ground.  I've never heard anything break that loud in my life

"It's just your shackles"  whats idiots those guys were.  shackles don't make that noise.

toynorcal

Ouch man, was it the ring or pinoin or both you lost teeth off? When are your gonna be up and running again?

Hyena

I don't know, im gonna pull it apart today.  i didn't plan on wheelin for the next month anyway so even if i get it fixed soon i won't wheel it.  gotta tend to other things right now.  i know i am missing teeth off of the ring gear, not sure of the pinion.

crawlerdan

like this??? i stripped 8 teeth off the ring and 2 off the pinion trying to climb a waterfall here in ashland

Hyena

more like this.

Of course i did drive it out from Little Sluice popping all the way so that did some damage too.
