IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Bazzi  so you mean a  bellhousing for a R151  bolts  to the 1KZ??   HOLEEE COW   those are  not  too hard  to find

no the bellhousing from the r151 to v6 doesnīt bolt up to the diesel one. but the bellhousing from the r151 to 1kz-te bolts up !!!!

I was suggesting that mark could test fit it and, try to figure out if the only difference is the location of the starter. the difference between the bellhousings to the diesel and bensin 22r and  2lt engines is the location of the starte.

I was suggesting that he could test fit it and see how hard it would be to modify the bellhousing from the v6 to the 1kzt.  I would look at the v6 clutch from marlin. I am planing for it for my cruiser.   I have fitted a ceramic clutch from marlin to a 2lt engine.

..... does this make sence?

i was traing to translate your post bazzi...

i found 2 different bellhousing for the R150

this is for the 1KZT with R150

and this

is for the 22RE with R150

the starter is on different site ;)

and this is bellhousing from 151F from KZN185 Hilux Surf

so i think Marc shut give us pics  from the transfer now and we shut know witch tranny is now inside
and than we find the best one

the  transmission he  has  with his 1KZ  is the automatic,   and  he wants  to make it manual,   or  did you already know that :headscratch:

ok. the 1kzte has an r150 transm.

the v6 4runner 3.0 has an r150 transm.

the only differense is the starter is on the other site. from your pic it looks like a mirror. so what I was saying doesn work.

what I was trying to say. = If the only difference is the starter. = all the holes mount up except the starter.
Mark beeing an handy man. he could probably either change the bellhousing so that the starter would be on the right site or he could change the starter lokation on the engine so that it would fit the bellhousing from the v6 3.0 4runner.....
I think that if mark gets an bellhousing from an v6 5speed runner and compares it to the engine he would see in a minute if it is doable or not.

yes we know that....but bellhousing from automatic is smaler....and the hole tranny is longer.
And he need a bigger flywheel for the manual.

We know that one of oure friends change the same automatic tranny last time to manual, and he order also a new Clutch an flywheel

is in german but have a look here...

I will try to get some info up tomorrow, but right now I am working on about 2hrs sleep for the past 2 days. I think I am going to try to use the G54 that I have now because it has been shortened. I am not sure if I have time to do all this with a R151 now. I will most likely need a bell housing for the 1kzt an flywheel and clutch assy. I will have to make it fit the G54 so I can keep the driveline the way it is now. Maybe even just a G54 bellhousing, but defiantly a flywheel to fit the 1KZTE.

Once I get it off the trailer and in the back yard I will be able to get more info.

Thanks guys and Zappel for your help, it is much appreciated.

Did you get it from jarco or another supplier?
