Dan-
I'm in Gunnison, but have a friend who lives in the Springs so maybe we could arrange something. I'll measure what I need for rough driveshaft lengths (swapping to a newer trans) and let you know.

Hi Friend!

I might be able to bring the shafts over after Christmas if we come down. Just make sure those shafts are sparkly clean...don't want to mess up my purrfect interior. Oh, and yer never gonna sell that other crap. It's too OLD...

Slayer-

What do you have in the way of doors? I'm looking for a cheap set from a 1st gen 4Runner to cut up for half doors. Or, if they are already cut that would be ok, too. For some reason I've decided I need another winter project...

Dan-
Just measured my driveshafts and I'm looking for-
-rear that is about 44" collapsed
-front that is about 25" collapsed (preferably 84-85 because it has more flex)
I'm hoping for a 4x60mm pattern on the flanges to match my diffs since I already drilled them out once(to the rectangular 79-83 pattern)

Rob-
I'll buy you a big roll of saran wrap so your purrfect interior doesn't get greasy... and isn't your rig too nice to have half doors? Don't want any dust blowing inside after all....

The front is 25" collapsed but has 70x70 diff side and 70x78 t-case side flanges...

the rear is 45" collapsed with 70x70 pattern at both ends...

I have 2 other U-joints boh 70x70 and 3 flanges; 2 are 70x70 and one is dual pattern... 70x70 and 73x66. I don't know what they're for, they came with the truck as spare parts and have remained that way.

It all kinda works...  :_order:

Edit; I actually want a rear that is about 44" collapsed (48" is what I have now), so your 45" probably would work. I will double check my flange hole patterns tomorrow. I'm running an elocker rear diff and an 86 front diff and I'm pretty sure they are both 60x60 which I think is the most common over the years. You are measuring the holes center to center right? Are the splines nice and tight on both of the shafts you have? I bought a front ds not long ago and the spline has noticeable play which causes vibration at certain speeds :(

I measured the bolt holes at their outer edges, I thought 70x70 looked "odd" to be a Toyota pattern. I used the front shaft on my rig and it works fine; I eventually switched to a square shaft and kept this around as a spare. The rear shaft came with the truck, I haven't used it but the joints feel good; no binding/tight spots. Also just kept it for a spare, but I have a CV rear shaft and have moved the axle so this is now too short for my truck.

I have a set of complet doors that are not tuched.  I also have a set of half doors I don't really like and would get rid of.  I can text you a picture if that works. I will pm you my number.
