So I need some input from marlin members....I am thinking of selling my dodge 4x4 to buy a friends toyota.  There is nothing wrong with my truck, just thinking about it.  It's a 1986 22re with a factory turbo, has 159,000 on it, 2wd, auto, and is really clean, A/C, power windows, locks, alarm.  has a minor oil leak, but it seems to be only the pan gasket, but am going to check it out more today or tomorrow on a lift.  I am thinking of buying it, doing a SAS, 5 speed, and the whole thing.  What is your thoughts on it?  How dependable are the turbo's and if  they go out, are they hard to get? :usa:

1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.
