hey the tranny is worth $300  just for a core,   if it turns out to be crap you can send both yours and it to Marlin

for another 300 bucks you could buy a 1979 toyota pickup, had the tranny and t case stolen.

i dunno if i'm gonna get to keep my nissan for long after i get it fixed up. since i do delivery drivin i need great gas mileage for my dd, and all of my friends parents who work for the oil company's are sayin that gas is supposed to rise an extra $.60-$1.50 by summer in "fuel additives". sounds like more price gouging to me.

on the upside, my truck was quoted as being worth $4,200 dollars by the insurance company, so once i get those body parts in and install them, i can turn around, sell my truck, get a great gas mileage car or motorcycle, and buy an old toyota truck for 4x4.

i can't afford one until my truck is fully restored, tomoro i'm gonna replace all of my ball joints, repack the wheel bearings, and hopefully get my hood latch to line up properly.

after that i'll have to make new mounts for my front bumper, and find a grill as well as a passanger side mirror for it. make an air intake for it, then it's finished. and hopefully i can get what i want out of it. it was quoted by the insurance company as being worth $4,200, if i can get at least 3,500 i'll be ok. but prefferably around 4,000. probably won't be finished until mid february, but i'll keep yall posted on the progress.
