wow, and I thought California had all the Toyota folks!
I'm in Aggieland, heading to south-central Mississippi pretty soon
Is there any wheeling in that area?  (besides mud and hurricane debris, of course)
Also would love to hit up Trees sometime this spring...definitely my favorite wheeling yet
...and Alto's only 2 hours away

i'm hoping to but i've got to find another truck, my nissan is on its last legs. shot steering, ifs, been wrecked, and now the motor has decided to blow the head gaskets and possibly cracked the block (have coolant mixing with the oil) i'm gonna try to sell it for as much as possible (still drives fine, just have to refill the oil every week (uses a quart) and drain the coolant at about the same time. could be repaired for pretty easy, i'm just tired of having to work on it all the time.

ask around where yall live if anybody wants a 1986.5 (just say 87) nissan extended cab 4x4 v6 pickup with 31x10.5 AT's for $1500 (asking). cab is good, bed is good, has headache rack, tool box, 2nd gas tank, heavy rear bumper, tow brake, and the interior is in pretty good shape. also has free alignments for life at firestone dealerships.

post some pics and see if you can find out a price for it. any idea how much it would cost for a solid front axle? does the truck have the sas suspension with it or would i need the axle and suspension from another?

tell people you know that i'm lowing the price to buy my truck down to 900 dollars, or parting out.
looks like my vehicle choices have been narrowed down to 6 options.
3 88-89 4 runners, two 4 cyl (one with bad motor) and 1 v6. (1000, 2500, 2500)
an early 80's land cruiser, inline 6. (3500) (favorite choice)
swampy's idea 4 runner
or an 88 chevy suburban (900 bucks, local, just as reliable, cheapest option, and definetly the easiest to find parts for out here in west texas.)
still searching tho, and looking to buy here soon.

the 1,000 4 runner needs a new 4 cyl engine, its located in utah, any idea where i can get one for cheap thats in good shape? (its an 88)
