u can get some great offroading with the 4cyl just as is, lower axle gears and t case gears make it real good off road. would save u some money as well. the v6 would get u some more power, but i've seen guys with stock 4cyl's go just as many places as guys with v6's and v8's

I put a v8 in mine, wouldnt trade the power for anything. But in all honesty my truck crawled just fine with the 4 cyl, and with less carnage. If you have never done a engine transplant before I will give you one piece of advice, the little things will cost you a fortune and always expect the unexpected the 4 cyl is much less hassle the v6 or v8 swap is more fun.

June 11-12  There is a big shin-dig at ORV park in camp gruber(near Muskogee OK) It is some sort of poker run that an OKC club is supposed to be putting on. I hope to be there thumper will probably be there too.

v8's can be a hell of alot of fun i'll agree to that, make for some really funny sights sometimes to. always great to see somebody's truck flyin through the air

i got an 87 nissan extended cab 4x4 in near perfect shape. front/rear end replacements, headache rack, and a second gas tank. had only 46,000 miles on it, all original, 3500 bucks

hey glen i found 3 86-89 4runners in junk yards out here if wanna buy 1 of em. 1 has all of the drivetrain and 4cyl engine, and another has a complete body, no damage, but no drivetrain. put em together u got a great 4x4. my old blue nissan got hit at 70mph, im lucky he only sideswiped me
