I couldn't have said it better myself. I've been in customer service in one way shape or form for a lotta years. No matter who is wrong, a little or a lot of politeness goes a long way. You dont wanna burn a bridge that you've been crossing for a while now according to your post.

...I wouldnt have posted that on a 4wd forum which most of the people whom work at robs probably read... But If you are polite and take it back explaining them what happend and can prove threw your recipt or there copy on the comp that a clocked adapter was ordered im sure they will kindly take it back and just sell it for a discounted price.. since its been opened but never used. That is what there doing with robs whole truck because of it being totalled.

As mentioned above, you need to think about how you phrase your words, and the thread title doesn't help either.  You're speaking negatively about a shop that (as far as we know) is guilty of nothing more than making a mistake on an order.  :pokinit: happens.  yeah, its a PITA for you, but if you take it back to them, they should make it right.

Customer service isn't shown when everything goes as planned, its how the shop handles things when they get screwed up.  Thats really where it comes to light.  Regardless of how you want to handle things, the very first thing you should have done is gone to the shop, and worked it out there.

thanks man they will be up soon. i took the cage off and i really like it without it. i put it on craigslist to try and sell it for 300 bucks. cages are cool and all but they arnt legit to daily drive. cops pull me over almost daily with it. haha im just going to build some bumpers and think of a in-cab cage idea.

NorCalToy

why do cops pull you over for teh cage?

its not for the cage it just draws attetion to me and then the take a closer look arnd relize no mud flaps, fender flares, cracked windsheild, licensse plates hard to read cause of mud and what not, ext. the cage just stands out like a terd in a punch bowl when your driving down the road and cops get a hard on and pull me over. im saving up to buy a old chevy 4 door 3/4 ton with a 454, turbo trans and 205 case.

Halladay

so what do you guys think keep the cage and weld it on or sell it and make bumpers? help me out here i cant decide! lol i love the taco grille with the black hood though!

i have been thinkin about it. but its nice for working on your motor like starter and all the things on the side. doing gas line and fuel tank work ext. its gay but nice to have that extra 3 inchs. plus my truck is built around it. with my sliders the would have to be cut off and welded lowwer. shock tower in the rear and front hoops would have to go or cut the fenders and bed bottom out. there would be more work than its worth in my eyes. plus i extend my shifters too so really cant even tell its there.

89sastoyo

I would just keep the cage off to the side untill your not driving your truck as much because when you go wheelin it will be nice to have... and its better to have it then want it and have to build it.

Wow what a difference on the flex with that sas  Looks great :yesnod:

sirhc0306

im with you on the body lift thing. it is way easyer to work on with but sucks the way it looks. with what all you have done and have your truck built around it i would just leave it. thats my thought though.

Halladay where did you get you shifter extents.

Halladay where did you get you shifter extents.

i made them. i work at a hardware store so i took 3, 4 inch nipples made for poop pipe. cut the threads off witch are 1/2 inch on each side. so when it was all cut it equaled my 3 inchs i wanted to gain. then i just cut my shifters and welded the pipe inbetween. works great! ill post some pics 2marrow so you can see.
