2 headers I bet so they avoid the Jeep 4 liter problem of cracking at the collector (as they all do except for the late models with expansion joints. Inline 6 has a long distance across a single flange for heat expansion.
mmm...sure? i dunno. made it easier to fab then a single piece im sure

Looking good Dan!

Might be by to get the p/s pump this weekend (sunday), not 100% for sure yet, but the wife is talking about taking the kids to see a movie at Evergreen/185th.  And hitting up Costco.  So, I'll let ya know later in the week.

um...cause its there, and it would be about 300 bucks cheaper...i dunno, just weighing my options

pumkin toy

you are doing duals right?  so you will use a gear drive case for the crawl box and the chain drive for the second case correct?

Correct Caleb..
I thought so,  I guess i'm just wondering where Dan is coming up with the 300 dollar number to run a gear drive instead of chain drive :headscratch:  You can usually find a gear drive case for pretty cheap

I'd be scared of a chain case.... for when you slap the turbo stuff on.

the kit to add a gear drive to my chain drive is cheaper then adding two gear drives

oh, i guess i havnt looked into chain drive stuff that much. I have never had a truck with a chain drive case :psss:   what is the difference in the kit?  you still need to buy a dual case adaptor no matter what.  the only extra expense would be to find a used gear drive right?

A friend of mine ran a gear drive crawl box with a 4.7 kit in front of a chain drive case in his Tacoma. He liked the shift on the fly for winter. He beat that fairly heavy x cab with a d44 front and lotsa armor like a rented mule without a problem. I think chain cases get an undeserved bad rap.

well, heres the plan, i will run the t100 chain drive case as is, stock.

im gonna get everything running and all the bugaboos worked out, because im pretty close to that point, about 1500.00 away to be exact.

then, when money permits, later this year, it will be dual gear drives.

there, how bout themn papples? :circle:
