i picked up two more intercoolers today, one form another audi, and one from a supercharged toyota previa, it actually is pretty nice, i think it might work, ill install something tommarow. its like 20 degrees outside

A supercharged Previa? That sounds like a waste of engineering to me  I don't know what cars you have to choose from in your area but some MR2s had the 4AGZE (or something Alpha-Bits lettered) 'charged engines; maybe there's a turbo'd LeBaron or something floating around? Dodge put turbos on some serious turds... any trucks to pick from? How much room do you have for an IC anyway?

actually the previa was pretty impressive, they used a divorced mounted supercharger (they are kinda mid engined) and the SC is in the front near the grill. that means you can put the SC anywhere, on anything


anyway- i got the intercooler from and audi 5000 quattro coupe (rare car ) mounted to the 4runner now
and the blow off valve off a mercedes 300td...the intercooler is not very large, but impressivly designed if you ask me, the enourmous volvo has 255 sq. in of cooling surface area, while this compact  audi one has 320, how? instead of one cooling foil like the volvo, the audi had 5 seperate cooling chambers, making the most out of little space. as you can see from the pics, it lives pretty close to the bottom of the hood, which means when i add a small hood scoop off a 300 zx or something, it will recieve a ton of cool air

yep, got about 1200 in the motor, everything else has paid me to have it here. i paid 2k for the truck, and have sold about 2500 in parts off of it

i wouldnt say it was easier then a 22re, but it was supprisingly easy, i thought it was going to be a royal mother-in-law, but i had mine out in about an hour...i love air tools

oh if i had air tools.... boy it would have been easy.
i had a problem with the clutch getting hung up with trans.. for about 45minutes before i coaxed it off lol

But yes it was surprisingly easy!!!

i want to put a 300zx turbo hoodscoop on it, but those are hard to find. i will put something there

Thought about putting a fan on it? That's still pretty awesome; glad you found something that works.

I havent installed em, but wanted to know what yall thought about how they look.
i need something to provide air to the intercooler

i think im going to hold out and get some chrysler lebarron vents,, like big mike has


got alot done today- i finnaly perfected the pipes on the intercooler, and got some proper sized stainless pipe. also have a proper blow off valve now.


then i pulled the whole mess out to start on the down pipe
