:down: i pulled a rod bearing :yikes:  then i pulled one of the mains this morning :sheerterror:   


the crank has a scratch in it :down:  it might be ok with new bearings  but if i had let the engine run a couple minutes longer it would have required machining the crank :down:

well, i'm going to pickup the headgaskets,  i went ahead and ordered some federal mogul bearings from O Reilly's  $35 for the mains,  $17 for the rods be here monday  :down:

ive had this one for awhile, actually several years, but i was looking at it today and remembered something Marlin had told someone several months ago,  then compared it to my stock pump and DANG this thing was much bigger (remember i have a 79) than my stock pump was.  cant wait to get it fired up :hyper:
