i'm just wondering if somebody (dont know why im a really nice person) put something in my fill hole :dunno:

Seriously, nobody would do that.  :slap: Why even think that? Offroading is a hobby of breakage. Plus, anyone who knows how to open up the fill plug and knows what a piece of something would do to your diff wouldn't do that. That's more trouble than somebody is willing to go to for a chuckle.

Maybe you damaged it somehow in the wreck, and driving all the way to Hot Springs did it in?  :headscratch:

thats all i can think of,  i even pulled the carrier apart to see if one of the spider gears bit the dirt or if the "missing" part/object was in there but i didnt find anything,  there was a good bit of metal shavings in the oil

Are all the ring bolts there, my Willeys had one back out and did some good damage.

its ok glen all you have to reset is BL it is no big deal. It's not like you wheel that hing anyway just leave the locking sleeve out. The bumps at the mall can't be that big. :gap:

yes its a elocker :yesnod:  and yes  its IMPORTANT   i event thought about pulling the fork but didnt


and here it is all lock tabbed and ready


i dont have a  inch pound torque wrench but it took medium effort to turn with this stubby ratchet

after checking ZUK's site,  it appears this is  a decent setting approx 2 ft pounds according to my pendulum torque wrench
