Cool pics. Looks like you got more than your fair share of damage. Everyone with me was diggin your 4runner. Especially after I told them it had a 3.4 in it.

me either man.  I had so much fun though.

Pretty sure i need a power steering pump now.  Bit of body damage but not like it was a show rig before.

Would have been more fun with a rear locker too i think.  I was disappointed i couldn't make soup bowl.  I may have been able to, but i was just beating up the side of my truck on that boulder before and i didn't want to break out my glass, so i accepted defeat.

2 years flew by man... I can't believe I'm back home. It was awesome! Best experience of my life. I'm ready to go back to the High Lakes though that's for sure... I'm trying to get a rig.

I was checkin' out that runner... 4cyl 22re. it's sweet for a project, runs good just a little rough for a DD. we'll see what happens, looking for something a little cleaner tho as I am heading out to idaho in January to BYU to study electrical engineering.

Just the body that's all. Needs tires too. Needs smog and check for a clean title. So I am going to keep looking. I want 22re, 5speed 85/86 and up. I don't really want 2nd gen 4runner I guess, I'd rather have a 1st gen runner or a pickup.

So i blew out my power steering pump i guess friday night. 
Was getting it in the snow and it died. Popped the hood and there was atf all over the timing belt cover and all over the resivor which was empty,  filled it up and it would sort of work when i would rev the motor up and at this point i have no power steering at all.

Last time i checked the resivor is still full, and non had leaked out.  So i would assume that means it is just not pumping.the fluid through the system.

Do they make power steering pump rebuild kits for a 3.4l? Auto zone said they did not.
Autozone wants just over $100 for a rebuilt pump with a 40 dollar core charge.


With that said, what should i do?
Should i try to rebuild it, source a used factory toyota pump, or just upgrade it and get a tg or a psc pump?

I would love to do hydro assist, but i dont really have the desire to spend money on that right now, but if i bought a psc or tg pump would that be fine to run without a ram for awhile?

blow the pump and run staight manual.. you might finally grow some muscles on them arms...
