I got some work done this morning. Took the axle apart, cut off all unneccisary brackets, cleaned up the housing and welded on the top truss, lower knuckle gussets, diff armor, and boxed the steering stops. I sprayed it black, then put my new spring bushings in while it dried. I may end up pulling the hp arb third out of my crawler to put in the 4skinner as I am going to 60's and links. I may even end up runnin the 30 spline longs in this rig too... Too many projects... Too many descisions... No money...

Ive had no problem with tg parts, ever. I know most of the marlin crowd does not like them, but the hard parts have held up really well. I wont use any of their gears or adapters, but the bumpers, skidplate, diff armor, and other misc parts have been good to me.
My buddy's truck has lots of tg parts, f/r lift, tcase 4.7's, 5.29's, and has never had a problem. His truck has done some of the hardest trails here in az and is a daily driver on 37's

nice lookin truck!  yeah i have been trying to figure out why everyone hates trail gear so much. i ordered a couple parts from them that marlin doesnt offer and i got them quickly and have never had a problem with them.  I really want to build some thirds using there new high pinion third housings

dude you got a high pinion third for 40 bucks?  we dont have "pull a part" or "pick n pull" places here.  Just regular  junk yards and if you could ever find a high pinion third here they would want a crap load for it!  So how how much can you get me two HP thirds for? :eyebrow:

I just spent 3 hours in police custody. My chevy is totaled, apparently it did alot of damage... Nobody was hurt.. broken tie rod, 2 taco'd wheels, 2 pass side flats. 4wd works, apparently my truck was hi centerd on a 3ft wall at around 60? mph by a friend I had drive home from the bar because I was too drunk to drive. 100 some odd feet from the crash site was my truck, about 2 miles away i was found, face to muzzle with a 45, after getting pregnant dog slammed, handcuffed, then pregnant dog slammed due to the knife I mentioned I always have with me, then I was hog tied in the back of a cruiser. Taken back to the crash site, my buddy (passenger) was beaten on, hog tied, same treatment and then some. After an hour or so the officer I was arrested by let my cuffs loose and was pretty cool. We both were released (no BAC test, no questioning) a few hours later, after witnesses said it wasnt either of us driving... mother fucks... I shaved my head 3 hours before all of this :pokinit: happend (had long hair for 10+ years) im sure that didnt help anything. As soon as I mentioned I was an EMT student they treated me like gold and basically let me off of the hook. My friend and myself are listed as leads in a case that has nothing to do with either of us. Good times

I never understood why cops felt the need to be rough with people who have just gotten in an accident, regardless if the driver was intoxicated or not. And leaving the scene of an accident, flopp that, when you get in a gnarly wreck your head is not in the right place, especially since this accident sounds like it was pretty brutal. I had a friend that was a passenger in a wreck where they were going 30 mph and got tboned by a car going 60 mph and everyone in the car going 30 was in such wicked shock they had all just wandered off but were still in the vicinity. Police beat the hell out of them, and both my friend who was driving and the passenger both had broken necks/backs BEFORE the cops beat them down. freakin' bull crap. Glad no one was hurt. What happened to your friend that was driving?

My buddy is trying to get those 2 :moon: cops in trouble. he got beaten pretty bad, road rash on his face and the outline of a boot on the back of his head. From looking at my truck there was no impact, but a lot of belly damage, definately didnt get his injuries from that. no air bags went off either. Im one step closer to gettin a cummins though  :pirate:

I made a bit of progress this weekend. Not much, but shes gettin there... I pulled the rear end back apart for wheel bearing/seals and had Zuk install the yukon 5.29's and a master kit in my elocker 3rd this weekend, beautiful job! I will post some pictures when I figure out how to resize them. I installed the newer v6 4runner brake booster and master, you can tell its going to stop better just by lookin at it!! I have a clinical at the hospitol all day tomorrow, and work and school the next, then insurance garbage to deal with wed. I probably wont get everything buttoned up until next weekend.

Im pretty sure theyre hp housings are from toyota,

Page 71 of the latest 4WDToyota Owner Mag.

Top right of the page is a press release from TG. Stating that their HP housings are their own and not Toyota's. Personally anything that requires precision grinding.

All Toyota housings are rifle drilled at the bearings. If TG doesn't do that, you are asking for trouble. I have no idea if they do. But it may be something you want to ask before you buy.

I just checked those tg housings out, I wonder how many of those they sell? its not too hard to find a complete stock hp 3rd for around the same price as the housing kit they have.

By the way pumkin let me know when youre ready for a HP, Ill hook you up. My buddy is buyin this one from me, but there is another 80 at the yard im waiting for them to put out. Its a 94 too, may be an elocker  :crossed:
