So I think I have to many Pics on this page so sometimes it all doesn't load of it, so sometimes have to his refresh a few times. I removed some pics, but i love alot of pics in a build thread.

So i bought me a 1988 Toyota Pickup, 250,000 miles, 5sp. Leaked 6 Quarts of oil on the way home! This thing was just COVERED in oil/grease.

** Sorry I lost the overall pic of my Yota, I will look for another one**

Got and 85' Axle, cleaned it, gussested and painted it.

Stripped the IFS off, and took her down to the farme

Put a marlin 6" SAS on the front with 14" Shocks.

Added rock sliders

Marlin 6" Rear Lift

I changed the rear again, flipping the shock mount bar. No Pics Yet

Rebuilt the trans/transfer case with a Marlin HD KIT

TODO:

Axles/tires 38's!

Body work and Paint
And more work then I can even think about. Oh I called it the rotten lime cause it will be painted a flate green called, rotten lime. i just fits....

YAY! I finally got me a 3rz, from a '98 Tacoma, 100k Miles, All under-hood harness/Engine harness/Dash harness/Bell Housing/Evap Canister/Clutch/Airflow meter, hoses and a few other small things. FOR $1250!!!! And it all fit in the rear of a '93 4Runner. who would have guessed!!

Time to get things cleaned, and then install time.

So Im getting her in. Thanks to the marlin 6" lift my lift wasn't tall enough to get it in, So I had to take the oil pan off. It had to come off anyway so oh well. Need to move it back 2" or so, all the wiring, and mount all the little boxers and what not. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!

Started on the wiring while waiting for the metal to build the motor mounts. Anyone who does this. Take the advise, remove the harness yourself so you can label all the plugs. It a real pain to try and figure out what each is and goes to!

Some Progress. Im kinda in the middle of it all, the point where it never seems to stop.... Part though! Sky Manufacturing Trans plate and rear shock bar. Nice!

This thing is 3/8s steel and weighs 61 POUNDS!!! ITS HUGE! I will be welding the sides to the frame, due to moving the engine back, nothing lines up. The way its set up now I have 6" lift with a SAS. The rocker comes in at 32" and the Trans Skid plate comes in at 27". I lowered the motor as much as possible to keep the COG down and get a little stability. Good Times!!! Just keep working, i'lle get it done someday.

Still working on the wiring and in the cab. The heater is all wired up and working as well as the wipers. Still working on the gauge cluster and little things. I fabed up some brackets and mounted the ECU in the factory spot passenger kick panel. Had to extend the some wires but not to bad.

Took the cab off again. Almost time for frame paint, Just goota weld a few more gussets on. Also welded on my Trans Mountto the frame!

I love looking at the frame/drive train pics. Dunno why? Good Times Though.

For the transfer case im sure you see, but I think im going to keep one factory mount and one HD mount. Save 70 Bucks and might help a little with vibration? Prolly not. this thing is going to be a crappy DD.

I know you also are wondering about that empty T-Case front. My Marlin 4.70:1 XD gear set will be here on the 28th! Rebuild that and one step closer to the end! w00t...

OHHH NOOO!!!! I got my Marlin 4.70:1 XD gear set but its MISSING the input gear bearing!!!!!! What am i suppose to do this weekend???? I will call them in the morning, They also forgot my trans shift boots...

Anywho, my first impression of the items is awesome, they seem very well machined and high quality.

Im sure I will find something todo this weekend, but was hoping to get my t-case off my work bench and 1000 pieces.
