Truck looks PIMP! love the bed. What springs are you runnin up front? I read on the first page that they're TG but are they the 3"? I've got a 3.4 goin in my 85 and was wondering how they do under a V6?

I believe the TG springs were the 3", but i cant remember they might have been 4". they seem to be holding up just fine though. I would love to throw a 3.4 in this, but there are other things that need to be done.

Im definitely going to the jambo, it was a blast last year. I know Aaron(Volcom). hope to see you there

I would most likely run something on the inside of the fender from the internal cage to the bumper.

I think you should stick to an interior cage...

I guess it depends on if you think you are going to thrash the heck out of it and move your A pilar enough to f up the windshield. I rolled mine going 55 and it did even move my windshield lol

I wont be building this for another month or so. I just want to figure out what I want sooner than later.

Has anyone ever seen tube on the outside of the A-pillar, but then go back inside for the rest of the cage?
I like the idea of it, but have never seen it before.

Yeah that was supposed to be didn't. And it was into a snow drift so that probably softened the blow. And there was one in the cage thread on Pirate that did that I believe, the old one that is...Rick deleted it. I will look for you

So things have been moving a little slow on my truck lately due to distractions. I have been traveling, camping, and there are also 2 other trucks we are working on at the same time.

Anyways The tunnel and the interior is done. The exhaust was really pissing me off so I ended up taking it to a shop and I will be picking it up on monday.

Everything is working well except for some vibrations. I think it is mainly due to the rear drive shaft angle at the tcase flange. I think once I lift the carrier bering the vibrations will mostly be gone.

Those guys are ridiculous for sure. Spend all this time on four links with the same length arms and springs as stock and then say IFS is superior.....

Yeah TTORA (at least the CO chapter) is pretty $That\'s Gay$
I know there are a couple good people over there though (like mrdoug) so I figure I can at least post progress on my build thread.
But Matty is right it is really hard to read something and then not post.

Anyways Exhaust is almost done i just need to run some pipe out behind the horse collar.
Also I think most of the vibrations im getting is due to the increased drivline angle at the tcase, so im going to lift the carrier bearing as high as I can and then get the rear half of the driveshaft re-tubed with heavy wall.

hey doin the same thing to my v6 truck. what size lift springs did you do for you front suspension and are you running lift blocks in the rear? i like ur trucks stance its not too high.
