Thanks man.
Now all the axle needs is a locker, longs, and ARP's

So im hoping to have this thing wheelin strong by the end of the month
+Checklist
-make square drive shaft for front
-buy and install shocks
-buy and install rear locker
-install sliders
-buy and mount 35" MTR's

depending on money I might be driving on the old tires for a little.

So here is my new favorite pic of the Silver Bullet.

Alright so I got some stuff done. Finished the motor mounts and made a square drive shaft. Once I got it in four wheel drive I flexed it on a rock next to our house.  So later today Im going to go have the alignment checked for some peace of mind. Then Saturday Im going camping with some friends and there are some trails to mess around on, so Im going to get to test it out some.

So here is the motor mounts

And here is the square drive shaft. I was going to take pictures while making it, but I couldn't find the camera until now.

And finally some flex pictures.  I got the front tire 2 feet high. There should be plenty more flex than that also. I need to go find a ramp to test it on.  :afro:

Oh and does anyone know the number for the V-6 lock right? I think it is 1620 but wasn't sure.

I haven't been to Moab for probably 12 years. I went out there with my dad before I could drive.
But the plan is to go wheeling there with some buddies this summer.
Do you wheel Moab a lot?

Before and After

GJToyotabug

hey do you still have all your IFS?

jarboarder1

Yea I do. sorry It has taken me a while to get everything sorted out.
what all do you want? Shocks?
you can PM me about it

GJToyotabug

well I was going to see frist how the disks look and if it had lock-unlock hubs

jarboarder1

well now the brake rotors are rusted over so those aren't much good. And the hubs are automatic which don't have the lock unlock on the outside. I have 4 rancho shocks though, I will sell those for like $20 a shock.

GJToyotabug

nahh I found some new Doetsch tech racing shocks that are only $50 a pice I'm going with them sorry.

oh hey do you know what all of the valving on your old front diff does?

GJToyotabug

Yea definitely needs tires.
But I got my lock right in the mail today and got it installed so I will go test it out tomorrow. I also have an e-locker waiting to be thrown in the front once I re-gear. so things are going good. just need tires and weld up the sliders. then I should be good for a while.
