after passing the fordyce test with stock gears and just a front locker, my dream of getting duals is finally coming together. may sound  :stopit: but iv been waiting for this day for so long. i ended up getting 700$ for  :stopit: high school graduation, praiseee the lord, so iv just ordered the marlin adapter, sky manufacturing dual skid place, and a hefty t-case mount from 4xinovations, and im buying an extra case from a buddy in town. hopefully it will all come next week so i can get the show on the road.

THK Matt

you ever get your engine problems figured out? if i remember right you had problems with it this winter.

ya i just ended up drilling 2 extra holed in the housing of the thermostat and that fixed the occasional weird overheating problem. its couse i have a piece of crap thermostat and since it works now i haven't bothered getting a nice one.

i got my second transfer case today its a 92-95 non top shift with a digital sending unit for spedo. i know technically im suppose to use a top shift... anyways i talked to lill buddy about it and he says its good to go and will jsut require a slight bit more mods, i trust the information fully but im wondering if anyones else has used a top shift with a forward shift for duals and i have the mc adapter if that even matters. and if anyones done it and its absolute hell then let me know couse ill jsut take it back to the guy. i dont know anyyythingggg about transmissions yet so im about to learn

THK Matt

if i remember right, doesnt the forward shift have to go in front?

Why else would it be called a forward shift if it didnt go in the front?

i thought i was how shifted was why it was called that.. :headscratch:
in stock form its in "back" but when you add duals... it should be in front.

it actually doesn't leak at all just some grease residue seeping around the felt from it being hot here. i try and keep the truck far from being a driving menstrual leaking machine.
