no this is a whole different package. its more of an upgrade than a replacement.. if that makes sense.

is it not on the site yet? :gap: so i want to upgrade.... it comes with bearings.. i want the upgraded ones though.

no its not on the site yet, in fact from what i understood hes still in the patent process. i believe that the new bearings aren't built out of stronger material but they have a bigger center now so that there are more smaller roller bearings instead of less big ones, so overall there's more surface area being supported. but since the bearings are different you have to get the new bottom part on the knuckle to fit the new bearings. same with the top on the steering arms..but that involves that  center stud to be pressed out and the new bigger redesigned one to be pressed in.

THK Matt

oh gotcha. nevermind.... glad you got setup though!

you need new steering arms unless you have the marlin ones. we did a quick eyeball check and my marlin arms will work with the kit, but the kit that matt has wont because the part that drops down into the trunion is to small in the arm to work with the new stud.... but when the kit comes out i might buy it if i happen to have money next summer and test it out... but good :pokinit: for sure with this new kit

Yeah Marlin needs to make sure jerk-co doesnt try and rob his ideas. That was badass you won that man, looks like a sick kit. I was super jealous :gap:

Dayumm, congrats on the prize! Imma need to get that kit ASAP, since my wheels are so offset plus my new widening kit, and also 1.5" wheel spacers = lots of leverage on my trunions.

mine will work fine i just need to get the holes machined larger, should only take an hour for a machine shop to have them rimed larger and the new part pressed in

-Matt-

the one he gave me was from an ifs setup that has very little angle. the guy who's gonna do my driveline (professional) says that he doesn't think thats going to work and that i need to find the stock straight axle one since it has more clearance to begin with. he said he can only clearance the ifs one to about 21*.

Tell your driveline guy by following the instructions that Duffil posted I got almost 40 degrees out of an IFS CV. I am running them on both of my drivelines, have been for about five years with no problems.

Congrats on the awesome prize!!!!

that's awesome did they tighten up your knuckles quit a bit? because im hoping it will get rid of my death wobble without having to shim my axle so its perfectly level again.
