we are gonna go up to high lakes tomorrow at 10 for a day run we are trying to get some people to go with us so far we have 3 guaranteed rigs (lill budy-irron cheff- and me) you should roll with us. we are also gonna go up next weekend to high lakes and camp a night hopefully the weekends wont be hella stormy but there should be some decent amount of snow up there by then.

Edit- if your interested in tomorrow and are down to leave at 10 then pm me your phone number and be ready couse im getting off for the night but ill be back on in the morning before we leave and if you wanted to go i can call and we could all meet up on the way up

here is how my day went.... woke up and went right to the window at 7... dry as dog .... 2.5 hours later still dry as dog after i sent you that last txt.... walk down to the kitchen at 10 and start talking to alli saying that you guys are going to luck out and have one hell of a time, i look outside and its starting to snow right at 10 on the button

Haha, thats funny, my dad saw you. He went from chico up 32 down skyway and back to chico (in a silver jeep liberty) and he said he saw a blue yota off the road. My first thoughts were you when he told me and then i was like nah, theres no way. That sucks tho man.

The snow up there was awesome. Great way to start out a snow season for me. We were plowing through soooo much snow and we were the only people that went into morris. It was sick.

THere was at least 12 inches at spring valley on the way out.

damn dude that's a bummer i was wondering where you were at it would have been cool to meet up with you. but you should go up with us next weekend and stay for a night and drink some beer and have a fat bon fire. was it a pregnant dog getting your back on the road? and you should def get some chromos...even if there not longs they will still save you so much hassle.

only prob is i think it might be snowing form looking at the forcast is calls for whats been goin on pretty much isolated showers in the valley and snow in the hills. so we are gonna have to figure something out meaning either a cabin depending on what chris thinks about that (but if that happens then im sure it would be just a friends only run considering the cabbin rules are pretty tight) or maybe we can just find a pretty chill semi isolated place to camp. either way if its like how it was up there today no way in hell can we camp in that .

o and today was my first time in history welding snowy 15 degree weather with jumper cables with 3/32 7016 rod. was deffinitely the most difficult welding procedure iv ever done.

Well theres really not any rules other then dont mess things up/break stuff and just do your dishes. If we stay there though, its going to be freezing ass cold because the propane tank is going to be a pregnant dog to get to and the fireplace does NOT work.

The only reason i dont wanna go there is that my grandma doesnt like me. Sleeping in my truck sucks ass though.

IDK we have a week to figure it out. I dont care who stays there as long as things dont get messed up AND if we stay there wed need to go in during the day on saturday to dig out the door and all that crap.

some guys drag link on his push pull. somehow it looking like it might have has a little dent in it and it decided to taco/bend/snap the tube so there was already 2 semi crimped ends that i was able to weld. it wasn't working out very well though there was plenty of amps but something to do with the volts i think and maybe polarity was making it very difficult. i bet that some 6010 would have done better since once the arc starts its violent enough to where i would assume it would keep going where this one would either want to stick or it would start for 1 second then almost smother itself out in a weird indescribable way, never seen anything like it.

Good idea but I dont have one. Nor do i have a legit sleeping bag or even a tent. My dad broke mine so ive been using theirs. Plus id fully love to have a mr heater thing cause they are able to use indoors (at least some are) so thatd be sick.

ill be sure to snag a lot of rod from school and throw it in my rod holder that i have... so we have good rod and we know what it will do and all that fun

yeah 7018 can act like that sometimes. I actually never passed a 70-series weld bead in school. Teacher kept telling me to use DC and I was like freaker I AM using DC! I've not screwed with it much since, but I still can't really run 7018 worth a . I can run 60-series on DC just fine though.

We have like 4.
we have used them in a tent before.
in the cabin of a 17ft inclosed Aluminum boat.
we use them in our garage and it just about kicks us out.
it gets very warm.

they arent too expensive.
and worth it!
last quite a while too.

that's a great idea only prob is i dont know anyone with one... what we need is one of those jet engine heaters that runs off kerosene  that drywallers use.
