This is the higher shock mount crossmember that I added today. Plated the frame too to reinforce that spot. This picture shows the shocks in the stock location because I need to get longer ones and drill the new mounting holes.

Welded lower shock mounts to the top of the housing. I still need to route my rear brake line and hook it up.

I got the rear brakes put together and the lines hooked up. I didn't feel like drilling holes in the spring perches for now, but I did tuck them up behind the spring perches and ran them on the top of the housing. I had to shorten them about 6" total. I'll get some brake line routing pics ASAP.

I was trying to find a place high enough to fully flex out the suspension so I could measure for the rear shocks. I got close, but still didn't get it fully flexed out.

You bet, that's what I was thinking. I have a bid on a set of 5.29s on ebay. Need to get some sliders on it too.

Let me know when your ready and we will make ya some sliders way cheaper than you could buy them.

I need some 5.29s as well. $I\'m Down$ I will have a spare 3rd next time I make a trip out of town.

I was going to build a bed for it. I guess I could go crazy and bob it though. But I do need to make some sliders soon before I leave all my door paint on a rock or something!

Hey your gonna need a front bumper too, so ya don't bust out those headlights.

I got a better idea .... instead of doing like me, just learn how to drive. I need someone to teach me how one of these days.

Did ya see that pic of us coming up that ledge? All dtb cought was the back of the truck and the looks on the other Arkie guys faces. They were grinning from ear to ear.

After the first official road test, on the road, I blew out my drivers side wheel cylinder... It's hard to get her stopped with no brake fluid! I made it to an O Rileys and got new brake cylinders for both sides and changed them in the parking lot. The next day I noticed there was fluid leaking from one of the rear shocks. They were well used anyway, and now with very little damping it is a little bumpy!

Need to get measurements and order the Bilstiens ASAP. In fact I may do that after dinner!

I placed an order for rear Bilstein 5125 12' Shocks and bumpstops with extensions... Maybe in a couple weeks I can do the front too.
